Q & A

Most Frequently Asked Questions:

Q1. Why do you recommend taking lessons from a real professional with many years of performing experiences?

A1. Learning accurate postures and basics are very important for string instrument players. Once the posture is settled in you, it’s so hard to fix later so we strongly recommend learning from experienced performing professionals.

Q2. When is the best time to start?

A2. According to Suzuki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinichi_Suzuki_(violinist)it’s always recommended starting as early as possible. It’s known to the public that early music starters may have better IQ and EQ so it maybe directly related to better SAT scores.

Q3. What instrument should my child choose?

A3. We recommend choosing from tendancy or character of the student. If your child likes to lead and outgoing, we would recommend violin. In any orchestra, the concert master is always violin with major speedy melodies. For late starters, we would recommend viola as it’s a bit slower and less competitive than the violin. Cello is also good for late starters who would love the deep and charm sounds.
